My tita wants me To reformat their computer.. Pero ayaw nila mawala ung files ..nalimutan ko na kung pano gawin step by step.. Sana po may makatulong.. Thank you in advanve
reformat let your os detect the theres an previous os installed and leave it that way then continue istalling. Once installed check your drive c: you will see Windows.old folder there you can retrieve your all data (sample attached).
Lol. Copy mo lng important files lipat mo sa usb or external harddrive. Mga important files lng nmn eh mga doc file, mp3, mga videos, etc. Yung mga mahahalaga lang sa tita mo.
kung naka partition yung hard disk mo magkakaroon ka ng Drive C: at Drive D: backup mo muna sa drive D: ung lahat ng files, after that saka mo e reformat yung drive C:, in case naman na hindi naka partition yung hard drive mo backup mo sya sa external hard drive or flash drive a.k.a. USB.
PS. it depends pala kung saan naka install yung Operating System (OS) mo Drive C: ba or Drive D: don ka mag reformat

tama... copy or save important files to usb or external drive, din u can format and install OS, pagkatapos copy mo ulit from usb to harddrive yan lang..GL
If ever default windows OS pa ng pc/laptop manufacturer naka-install, you can restore it to factory settings by choosing "Keep my files options."
1. Restart PC/laptop
2. hit appropriate F key or key combination para lumabas yung restore to factory setting options. Example po,
Acer – Alt + F10 Asus – F9 Dell/Alienware – F8 HP – F11 Lenovo – F11 MSI – F3 Samsung – F4 Sony – F10 Toshiba – 0 (not numpad) while turning on, release key when Toshiba logo appears
3. Lalabas yung prompt regarding factory reset, just choose "Keep my files" option.
4. Follow mo lang yung susunod na mga prompts. Factory reset usually takes 30mins-1hour.
If ever hindi na ung default OS:
1. Plug in your bootable USB/CD.
2. Go to BIOS Setting and change boot order. Place bootable USB/CD to first order.
3. Save settings.
4. Follow the prompts when it comes up until you reach the page where it shows your formatted drives (i.e., Drive C and Drive D)
5. Delete partition C
6. Create new partition
7. Format
NOTE: Please back the files first as what sir jomelyoww mentioned. For detailed step by step, madami sa net. You can do google search or search mo din sa YøùTùbé.
