Danganronpa V3 may be a game that’s mostly about reading text, but it still made my heart race. Rather, the setting of Danganronpa V3 is a spooky academy where what’s called a game of killing takes place. As with previous Dangranronpa games, the setting of Danganronpa V3 is not a traditional school setting. Starting with the first game released in Japan in 2010, Dangranronpa is a series about high school students who are driven to despair and forced to kill each other.Danganronpa V3 follows the same formula: a new group of students find themselves in the same dire situation. The game features a new killing game called New Killing School Life. The group is initially reluctant to take part in the killing game until a new rule is introduced: if no one is killed within two days, Monokuma will end the game early, killing all of the students. Although this is a new setting, the mascot of the Monokuma series will still be present in the game.
