Well, there were remnants of the boat that could be used to float without exhausting myself. I don't believe that they swam for 5km plus just to get help from vietnamese boat. The chinese reasoning of leaving them was there were a lot of filipino boats around that they would get mugged once they stopped. My guess is this was a deliberate ploy by the opposition and the US to ruin the present China Phil relationship and it becoming obvious that the media companies are hellbent in covering this event. Way back during the time of Pnoy there were even deaths and injuries of Filipino fishermen and that time Pnoy and media men are not that pabibo like now. Wala man lang nagalusan dun sa mga mangingisda ngaun maliban sa nabasang brief. Hahahahaha!
