First of all, let me give you the meaning of the term "PROXY". A proxy or proxy server is simply another computer which acts as an intermediary through which internet requests are processed. In other words, when you are connecting to the Internet through one of these servers, your computer sends your requests to the proxy server which then processes your request and returns what you were looking for. Proxy servers can be used to "hide your IP", appear anonymous online or even change your online location. This is the secrete behind people accessing the Internet from Nigeria but their location reads United States of America or any other country they use their IP.
So we will be looking at the latest list of working proxies and Proxy servers you should consider using to hide your real IP, appear anonymous or change your real location. Most VPN apps we use today like the Psiphon, Tweakware, Stark and so on uses this principle of proxy servers to tweak stuffs and confuse Internet Service Providers (IPS) hence the availability of free browsing cheats and similar stuffs.
HOW PROXY WORKS
All the web browsers (chrome, firefox, ie, opera, safari and others) supports the proxy option. When you set a proxy in browser, the proxy will fetch the web pages for your browser. The webistes regard the IP of proxy as your IP so it cannot trace your real IP. You can also use Elite Proxy Switcher to set the proxy for your browsers.
UNDERSTANDING THE THREE TYPES OF PROXIES
There are basically three categories of proxy servers and each have different functions. Check them out below:
Level 1 - Elite Proxy / Highly Anonymous Proxy: The web server can't detect whether you are using a proxy. Level 2 - Anonymous Proxy: The web server can know you are using a proxy, but it can't know your real IP. The above Proxies (IP) can be used to tweak Psiphon and other VPN apps for free browsing or to change your location while you are online. So anyway you want it, the choice is yours.
