As TV Series fanatics, TV shows, Online Streaming, K Drama and Netflix are the fundamental parts of our lives.
However, there's a fine line between watching our favourite show every now and then and the insanity that develops out of TV show addiction...
You can't think of anything other than the programme, you have no desire to do anything but find out what's going to happen in the next episode and deadlines start not to matter - watching the show is the only that's important to you.
If you recognise any of the symptoms listed below then chances are you have a serious TV show addiction and the only cure is to WATCH IT ALL.
1. You begin to catch glimpses of the characters in your everyday life
2. You will never fancy another person again, you’re too in love with the show’s main character
3. You begin to question why real life isn't as exciting as your show
4. You then question why real people aren't as exciting as those on the show
5. Your dreams are full of you living the life of your favourite character
6. You begin responding to and/or laughing out loud to comments made on the show
7. You've decided that Netflix membership takes priority over food
8. And lectures...
9. You watch eight episodes in a row before you realise that you haven’t moved all day
10. You’re missing out on social events so you can get to the end of the season
11. You’re more excited about your favourite couple getting back together than you are your birthday
12. Your passionate hatred for the evil character is terrifyingly real
13. Somebody dies and you consider holding a memorial for them...
...You don’t because you’re crying too much to do anything
14. You’ve been in your room with your laptop for 6 days
15. Real life is no longer real and you believe you live in the show
16. You start calling people around you characters’ names by accident
17. You hear the characters’ voices in your head
18. You haven’t showered or changed your clothes in days
19. The show ends and you come to the sad realisation that you’ll never be happy again...
