What is Safe Mode?

Safe mode is very similar to acomputer’s safe mode. It does not loadany Apps. Basically, it temporarilydisables all pre -installed applicationsand services that came with the phone.

How to Enter Safe Mode

To enter safe mode and to find out ifthere’s a culprit app that may beinterfering with the network operationof your phone, kindly follow theinstruction below. App Like FX Camerais seen to be a treat in most cases. However, to enter safe mode:

• Turn off your phone
• Hold the Power button
• While holding the power button keeptapping on the menu button; this is thebutton left of the home key.
• You will be greeted with a safe modelogo at the bottom left of the screen.

Now it’s time to test .

• Enter the same Prefix code you weretrying before within the dialer and seeif it works eg “*135#
• If it works, then there is an app whichis causing the Invalid MMI Code erroron your android phone.
• Reboot your phone and remove anyrecently installed

Another simple and effective way to fixConnection Problem or Invalid MMICode on android phone is to add acomma at the end of the Prefix code.

For example:

If your Prefix code is *2904*7#, thenadding the comma at the end would dojust the trick which will look like *2904*7#,

OR

You can use the + symbol after * like*+2904*7#

By adding the comma it forces theoperation to execute and overlook anyerror that’s in the way.

To Fix Connection Problem or InvalidMMI Code on Samsung galaxy , thismethod requires you to simplyenter into device information modeand activating Radio to Turn on IMSover SMS

To Enter information mode :

• Dial *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer
• Navigate to Device/Phone Information
• Click on “Run Ping Test “
• After the Ping test is performed
• Click on “Turn Off Radio“
• Next, Click on “Turn on SMS over IMS“

IMS :IP Multimedia Subsystem
IP :Internet Protocol
SIP:Session Initiation Protocol

While this setting is off, SMS is sent orreceived over a period of 1x(times), thecircuit switched connection

Finally reboot .

Restarting your phone several timescan do the trick. Basically, turn yourphone on, navigate to network settings.Then hold the power and the homebutton together until your phone turnsoff. Then Turn it back on.

• Mobile Networks
• Network Operators, it will beginsearching. You will see availablenetworks present . Select your serviceprovider (at&t or Verizon etc)
