I had this problem also. I found uninstalling the graphics card and starting again fixed it. If you haven't tried this I'd suggest it. Hopefully it works for you as well If you're running the Nvidia card I wouldn't recommend updating. I think the recent update is what has issues with it. I...

uninstall and re-install without updating to the recent driver. Seems to work perfectly without the latest driver. :)
