Sadly and unfortunately it's really near impossible especially if you played dota1 before dota2. I've been on this game for 13 years from its infancy until now and I tried everything to stop. I have a wife and a kid now and I'm still playing once in a while (maybe once or twice a day.)
IMO the things to consider when buying a laptop are:
1. Budget: but you mentioned already that this is not a problem so ignore this.
2. Specs: identify which is the best bang for the buck or compare items for price per performance before buying any parts. This is mostly applicable to a desktop...
