[Small note as update 29.09.]: Microsoft has released a new KB4577063 (19042.545). This update is for the Windows Team version (Surface Hub devices). So should not be installed on normal Windows 10 2004 / 20H2 x64 versions (even if it works). The update KB4577063 linked here with us (below) is for Windows 10 2004 / 20H2 from September 22nd.

Known issues for KB4577063
No official known
All remaining problems in Windows 10 2004 / 20H2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Problems fixed by KB4577063
  • We fixed the issue where the WSL would not start with an "Item not found" error.
  • We added a notification to Internet Explorer 11 notifying users of Adobe Flash end of support in December 2020.
  • We have improved the system's ability to detect when Microsoft Edge IE mode has stopped responding.
  • We fixed an issue that in some cases prevents the voice bar from appearing when the user logs into a new session. This occurs even though the language bar is configured correctly.
  • We fixed an issue where the first East Asian language character entered into a Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC) DataGrid is not recognized.
  • Fixed an issue preventing you from reconnecting to a previously closed session because that session is in an unrecoverable state.
  • We fixed an issue that caused games that use surround sound to stop working.
  • We fixed an issue that prevents obsolete user profiles from being deleted when you configure a Group Policy Object (GPO) for profile cleansing.
  • We fixed an issue where selecting I forgot my PIN under Settings> Accounts> Sign-in options in a Windows Hello for Business on-premise deployment would fail.
  • We have updated the time zone information for Fiji for 2021.
  • We fixed an issue affecting the ability of Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to monitor a customer's workload.
  • We fixed an issue that caused random line breaks when redirecting the PowerShell console error.
  • We fixed an issue with creating HTML reports with Tracerpt.
  • We enabled the DeviceHealthMonitoring Cloud Service Plan (CSP) to be run on Windows 10 Business and Windows 10 Pro editions.
  • We fixed an issue that was preventing the content in HKLM \ Software \ Cryptography from being broadcast during Windows feature updates.
  • We fixed an issue that, under certain circumstances, could cause an access violation in lsass.exe when starting a process using the runas command.
  • We fixed an issue where Windows Defender Application Control was enforcing rules on package family names that should only be checked.
  • We fixed an issue where you could see an error stating that a smart card PIN change was unsuccessful even though the PIN change was successful.
  • We fixed an issue that could create duplicate Foreign Security Principal objects for authenticated and interactive users on the domain partition. As a result, the configuration files (.cnf) for the original objects are corrupted. This problem occurs when you promote a new domain controller with a CriticalReplicationOnly flag.
  • We updated the configuration of Windows Hello Face Detection to work well with cameras with 940 nm wavelength.
  • We have reduced distortion and drift in Windows Mixed Reality Head Mounted Displays (HMD).
  • We made sure that the new Windows Mixed Reality HMDs meet the minimum specification requirements and have a 90 Hz refresh rate by default.
  • We fixed an issue that caused a stop failure on a Hyper-V host when a virtual machine (VM) issues a specific Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) command.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause attempts to bind a socket to a shared socket to fail.
  • We fixed an issue that could prevent applications from opening or cause other errors when applications use Windows APIs to check Internet connectivity and the network icon in the notification area incorrectly reads “No Internet Access ” . This problem occurs when you use Group Policy or a local network configuration to turn off active search for the Network Connectivity Status Indicator (NCSI). This problem also occurs when active probing does not use a proxy and passive probes cannot detect Internet connectivity.
  • We fixed an issue preventing Microsoft Intune from syncing on a device using the Virtual Private Network Version 2 (VPNv2) Configuration Service Provider (CSP).
  • We suspended uploads and downloads from peers when a VPN connection is detected.
  • We fixed an issue that prevented Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) administrative tools, such as IIS Manager, from managing an ASP.NET application that had SameSite cøøkíé settings configured in web.config.
  • We fixed an issue with ntdsutil.exe that prevents you from moving Active Directory database files. The error is: "Failed to move the file with source and destination with error 5 (access is denied.)"
  • We fixed an issue that incorrectly reports that Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) sessions are insecure in Event ID 2889. This occurs when the LDAP session is authenticated and locked using a Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL) method.
  • We fixed an issue that could cause Windows 10 devices that enable Credential Guard to fail authentication requests when using the machine certificate.
  • We restored the constructed attribute in Active Directory and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) for msDS-partdistname.
  • We fixed an issue that caused queries against large keys on Ntds.dit to fail with a "MAPI_E_NOT_ENOUGH_RESOURCES" error. This problem can result in users seeing limited meeting room availability because the Exchange Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) cannot allocate additional memory for the meeting requests.
  • We have fixed an issue that intermittently generates OSCP responder audit events (5125) indicating that a request has been made to the OCSP responder service. However, there is no indication of the serial number or domain name (DN) of the issuer of the request.
  • We fixed an issue that was displaying strange characters in front of the day, month, and year fields in console command output.
  • We fixed an issue causing lsass.exe to stop working, triggering a system restart. This problem occurs when invalid restart data is sent with a non-critical Paged Search Control.
  • We fixed an issue that resulted in events 4732 and 4733 not being logged for changes in domain-local group membership in certain scenarios. This occurs when you use the Permissive Modify control. For example, the Active Directory (AD) PowerShell modules use this control.
  • We fixed an issue with the Microsoft Cluster Shared Volumes File Systems (CSVFS) driver preventing Win32 API access to SQL Server Filestream data. This occurs when the data is stored on a Cluster Shared Volume in a SQL Server Failover Cluster Instance that is on an Azure VM.
  • We fixed an issue that causes deadlock when offline files are enabled. As a result, CscEnpDereferenceEntryInternal holds parent and child locks.
  • We fixed an issue that caused deduplication jobs to fail with stop error 0x50 when calling HsmpRecallFreeCachedExtents ().
  • We fixed an issue causing applications to stop working when using Microsoft's Remote Desktop Sharing APIs. The breakpoint exception code is 0x80000003.
  • We have removed the HTTP call to You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. that the remote desktop client (mstsc.exe) makes when it logs off when using a remote desktop gateway.
  • We fixed an issue with evaluating the compatibility status of the Windows ecosystem to ensure application and device compatibility for all Windows updates.
  • We added support for certain new Windows Mixed Reality motion controls.
  • We fixed an issue that resulted in applications using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to stop responding when you try to close the application.
  • We added an Azure Active Directory (AAD) device token that will be sent to Windows Update (WU) as part of every WU scan. WU can use this token to query membership in groups that have an AAD device ID.
  • We resolved an issue with the Restrict Delegation of Credentials to Remote Servers group policy setting with the Restrict Delegation of Credentials mode on the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client. As a result, the Terminal Server service will attempt to use Require Remote Credential Guard mode first and will only use Require Restricted Admin if the server does not support Require Remote Credential Guard.

What you see is what you get.
