Subscribers must present a valid ID with their indicated birthdate upon registrations.

RA NO. 11934 (SIM REGISTRATION ACT)
This requires all new subscribers to register their SIM card prior to activation, and for existing subscribers to avoid deactivation.
The Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the SRA issued by the National Telecommunications Commission shall take effect on 27 December 2022.
The law promotes accountability on the use of the SIM card and provides competent authorities the necessary tools to detect and stop criminal activities such as text scams, cybercrimes, terrorism, and other offenses committed through text messages, voice calls and other relevant telecommunications services.

Actually im concerned about sa need pa yung sim card serial number kasi what if naitapon na ng subscriber yung case ng sim (lalo na yung mga sim ng talino dati before 2019 na halos walang nakalagay na info kung hindi logo lang nila sa pinaka micro at nano sim), they should have followed Globe na hindi na nagrerequire ng ganun.

if you have the before 2015 older sims and after 2019 sim card design yung sim mismo, if you have the 2015-2019 design of their sim cards you have no luck pag natapon mo case kasi logo lang ni talino ang nandun sa pinaka micro/nano sim.

as long as yung sim is from 2015-2019 sureball na walang nakalagay na serial number na yan sa sim mismo, in that case better na sa mismong customer center ni talino ka pumunta
