Guys first post ko po ito as thread starter sa PHcorner, so bear with me kung hindi ganun ka polished ang pagkakagawa ng tutorial na ito.

So let's start!
Requirements:
*PC/Laptop running at least Windows XP, but Win7 is preferable.
*Mediatek(MTK) Drivers for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 - search na lang po sa google madali po yan mahanap install lang po ninyo sa PC nyo
*15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.3 - pakisearch na lang po sa google maliit lang po yan paki install na din po sa PC nyo
*recovery.img (TWRP for MYPHONE MY96 DTV) - Pakidownload po. Pinort ko sya from another model having almost the exact same chipset and specs. You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.
Steps:
1. Backup po muna ninyo sa another PC/SD card ang files ninyo.
2. Activate Developer Options by tapping Build Number (5-10times ata) sa About Phone under Settings.
3. Under Developer Options, paki on po ang OEM Unlocking.
4. Under Developer Options, paki on po ang USB debugging.
5. Punta po kayo sa PC, diba nainstall na ang ADB installer? Makikita nyo po sya sa C:\adb\ if im not mistaken. Ipress ang Shift then i-right click ang ADB folder at piliin ang Open Command Window Here. May lalabas po na CMD black screen niyan.
6. Iplug ang phone sa PC via usb cable.
7. Itype sa CMD screen from step 5 ang "ADB devices" without the quotation marks. Kapag po may lumabas na "device XXXXXXXXXXXXX" ibig sabihin po nadetect na ng PC ang phone ninyo.
8. Itype ang "ADB reboot bootloader" without the quotation marks. Magrerestart po si phone at mapupunta sa black screen(that is, fastboot environment).
9. Itype ang "fastboot devices" without the quotation marks. Kapag po may lumabas na "fastboot XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" ibig sabihin po nadetect properly na ng PC ang phone ninyo.
10. Itype ang "fastboot oem unlock" without the quotation marks. Lalabas po dyan yung prompt message sa phone to confirm unlocking the bootloader. Pakipress po ng volumn up or down (pakibasa nalang po nasa phone nalimutan ko kung volume up or volume down, dapat yes ang piliin). At this point magfafactory reset po ang phone ninyo, that's why I suggested na backup muna kayo ng files at step 1.
11. Next is open the phone for the first use. Balik po tayo sa developer options at i-ON ang USB debugging ulit.
12. Yung recovery.img na file pakilagay po sa loob ng ADB folder.
13. Iopen ulit ang ADB folder with Open Command Window Here just like step 5.
14. Type "ADB reboot bootloader".
15. Pag nasa fastboot na type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img". Makikita nyo po sa screen ng phone na succesful ang pag flash ng recovery.img pag download OK sya.
16. Type "fastboot reboot". Then pakitanggal po ng battery before it reboots.
17. Isalpak po ulit ang battery. Press power button+volume up button para pumasok sa bootloader. Pakipili po ang Recovery Mode. Kung succesful po ang lahat, dapat lalabas na ang TWRP custom recovery.
18. Swipe to allow modifications.
19. Punta sa Mount. Then Pakicheck po lahat ng partition na machcheckan, most importantly yung "System" dahil yan po ang kailangan para makapagmodify ng system apps kapag po rooted na si phone.
20. Download nalang po kayo ng latest SuperSU.zip na flashable via TWRP. then install po as usual. Upon reboot may SuperSU na kayo sa home screen.
Final Notes:
1. Kapag po na unlock na ang bootloader kailangan na makapagboot up muna sya for the first time bago magflash ng TWRP. Kapag po nagflash agad kayo ng TWRP after unlocking bootloader, masisira ang ROM nyo (magbobootloop) at kailangan nyo pa magdownload sa internet ng ROM dump ng myphone nyo then iflash. Kindly refer kay emerlist blogspot on how to do this incase na brick nyo phone nyo.
2. Kapag po rooted na si phone at nagtry na kayong mag uninstall ng system apps na bloatware using ESfile explorer application at nagfafail parin, balik po kayo sa TWRP and recheck yung mga mount points especially yung "System". Upon reboot, sa ES file explorer click nyo si root explorer and click mount R/W then icheck nyo po lahat into R/W para mamodify ang System root folder. If all else fails, just keep on rebooting phone.
3. Pwede napo kayo magbackup ng ROM using TWRP. tested ko na po at gumagana sya. Sana po ay may makapag mod dito ng custom ROMs eventually pra sa mga phc.onl/#forbidden#rs natin dyan.
Q&A:
Q: May Kingroot/framaroot/oneclickroot blah blah po bang shortcut para maroot ang my96 dtv ko?
A: Wala po. One click root apps work for 4.4Kitkat and some 5.1Lollipop phone and any version lower, pero sa 6.0Marshmallow and later wala po kayong choice but to install TWRP/CWM and flash SuperSU. Wala pa pong exploit para dito sa ngayon. Wag napo makulit dumaan nako dyan hehe.
Q: Posible bang paltan ang boot screen ng myphone my96 DTV ko?
A: Oo. Para sa bootscreen kailangan mo iflash sa fastboot ang logo.bin file na minodify mo. Type "fastboot flash logo logo.bin" sa fastboot. Refer to tutorial above. Make sure na logo.bin ang name ng file. By the way mayroon ako ditong malinis na logo.bin para sa inyo kayo napo mag edit kung anong picture ang gusto nyo kasama narin dito yung mga number percentage kapag naka power off charging. Hanapin nyo nalang po sa XDA yung logo.bin editor application tapos kunin nyo yung logo.bin na naprocess nya then flash nyo. A: Oo. Kapag rooted na si phone, palitan nyo lang yung bootanimation.zip at bootaudio.mp3 na nasa root\system\media na files. Dapat same screen resolution para hindi mag lag ang boot ninyo (720x1280). Dapat ang permissions ng file na ilalagay is (rw- r-- r--).
