Hello mga Lods!

Hihingi lang po sana ako ng opinions.
I'm a 2nd yr college student sa AMA Computer College taking up Computer Engineering. I'm thinking of transferring sa University dito sa amin, pero nagdadalawang isip ako dahil magsisimula ulit ako sa 1st yr pero nagpa-evaluate na din naman po ako kaya alam kong majority ng nakuha ko ng subjects ay maccredit. Ang iniisip ko po kasi baka tulad sa mga napapanood ko, na tinitingnan ang reputation ng school na pagtatapusan ng kolehiyo. And baka most of the companies will consider hiring those who came from a good school. I'm not looking down po sa school ko, kasi may advantage naman talaga ang AMA lalo na at online, pero parang iba pa din kapag face2face and hands on kaysa sa modules lang at halos spoon feeding ang lessons. Tapos ang laboratory namin kasali sa binabayaran pero modules pa din walang hands on experience pakiramdam ko po wala akong natututunan masyado. O baka dahil sa branch lang namin to dito sa Naga. Ewan ko po, wag po sanang makainsulto ito sa kung sino man ang nag-aral o nag-aaral sa same school. Wala po akong intensyon na manginsulto o may maapektuhan sa post ko. Nagsshare lang po ako ng opinyom at saloobin ko din. Sa tingin nyo po mabuti kayang magtransfer na lang o magstay. Any comment will be much appreciated. By the way, 2nd yr po ako 2nd sem currently.

pwede malaman yan if ilang mga sem ang irregular subjects bago maubos. may limit kasi sa pwede enrol na subjects kaya ganon.

after sa consulations ng subject itanong lang mga ilang sem aabutin ang irregular subjects. di naman big deal ang irregular.

ganyan talaga charges nang AMA kasali laboratory kahit online class at modules lang binibigay if gusto mo lumipat school mas maigi pa kasi iba talaga ang ftf lalo na sa course niyo need nyan actual na di makita sa modules and at the same time if may discussions mas maiintindhan pa sa personal teaching... kung lilipat ka prep mo the following: exit clearance( if meron silang ibigay or e require)
Honorable dismissal,Good moral and Tor mo ang ilalagay nila sa baba nyan is for other school if wala kapang malipatan agad pero pag meron na matic na yan ipangalan under sa name nong lipatan mo,and FYi si TOR possible di ikaw makakakuha nyan after nila ma process either diretso nila yan e padala sa school na paglilipatan mo kasi confidential file yan sakanila...si HD and GMC lang possible mo madala personally...

hmm.. lahat naman siguru ng school di naman ganun ka lalim yung pag tuturo kasi sa time contraint kaya need talga mag advance study . . and yes minsan may mga tao o company na tumitingin sa school na pinanggalingan pero if nakita nila sa isang tao na mahusay ito talga , kukunin naman nila kahit ano skul kapa nag mula ..

Salamat po lods sa mga tips na shinare mo. Tugma po mga sinabi nyo, kahit walang labs kasali sa fees, pero kahit ID lanyard walang maibigay kesyo wala pa daw binigay ang head office, tapos self-learning lang talaga. Kapag may OLC ang subject, mapapansin mo binasa lang lahat galing dun sa module, respect din naman po ako sa mga OLC pero mostly binabasa lang po walang explanation or mga samples para mas maintindihan. Parang walang pinagkaiba kung ako na lang ang nagbasa. Tapos ang activity ibinibigay gumawa daw ng Tiktok video na sumasayaw, ang layo sa course. Kapag magttransfer na po ako babasahin ko po ulit itong message mo dito para sa mga kailangan kong dalhin. Salamat po.

Sayang isang taon. Kapag computer related ang course mo tulad ng comsci, BSIT at tulad ng course mo na com eng eh wala sa school yan kundi nasa accomplishments at self study. Tulad ng sa thesis, tatanungin ano participation mo. Kung programmer ka mas mataas chance makapasok. Karamihan ng tapos sa computer related course hindi marunong mag code or mag ayos ng PC. Self study lang. Maski tapos ka ng magandang school pero puro games naman pinaggagawa at tamad pa, wala ah. Meron nga ako kilala 18 years old lang pero dahil magaling mag coding eh kinuha na ng company

di mag rerefer ang school niyo na aalisan niyo into other school wala sakanila yan,pero yung hd and gmc mo pwede mo hingin sakanila yun para ikaw na kusa magdala sa lilipatan mo tapos yung TOR mo isesend nang past school mo don sa lilipatan mo na bago via ex.LBC,etc...na couriers..

Ganun po ba lods. So more on skills po dapat instead of graduating from a reputable school? Oo nga po nasasayang din ako, kaya nga po undecided ako kasi ilang factors din ang tinitingnan ko. Yung oras ng trabaho at aral, then yung ibang duties ko pa sa bahay tapos syempre yung pahinga since working student ako. Tapos since self-supporting mas mataas tuition ng prestigious university dito samin lalo't f2f. Tapos yung fact na uulit nga talaga ng 1st yr.
