Spicy Pineapple Fritters

Ingredients




    • 1 habanero or 2 jalapeno peppers, minced
    • 2 cups pineapple chunks
    • 3 chives, finely minced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon tumeric
    • 1 1/4 cups flour
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup extra ****** olive oil
    • 2 eggs
Cooking Directions




    • In a large mixing bowl, combine peppers, pineapple, chives, garlic, and tumeric. Mix well.
    • In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs and flour. Mix thoroughly.
    • Cover each bowl and refrigerate 4 hours.
    • Remove and combine batter with fruit.
    • In a large frying pan, heat olive oil.
    • Spoon batter into oil and fry4-6 minutes, or until golden brown.
    • Remove spice fritters and allow to cool.
    • Serve!
Fritters make a great, fun dessert for parties, but you can also serve them as an appetizer.
