Hello guys,
Welcome once again with a new tutorial that Boost your internet speed with gpedit.msc.
Windows uses 20% bandwidth of your internet connection by default in running updates or interrogating your machine.
So let's get started.
1st__- Click Start–>Run–>and type gpedit.msc
Hit enter.
This opens the group policy editor.
Then go to:
Local Computer Policy –>Computer Configuration –>Administrative Templates –>Network –>QOS Packet Scheduler –>Limit Reservable Bandwidth
Click on it to open
Then click on enable on the left side of the window
And set the limit to 0 (zero)
And save and exit.
“By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default.”
So the main thing is to enable the reservable and then set it to zero. This will allow the system to reserve nothing. rather then the default 20 percent.
So let me know your comments if you'll try it . Will help us a lot with your feedbacks.. peace✌
