Hello guys. gusto ko lang mahingi yung advice, tips and opinion sa mga I.T expert and Computer programmer expert dito. Im planning to shift career sa I.T fieldat maging software developer(sana) . Konting kwento lang, Im a 3D Engineer based here in Japan. Japanese dont care and dont recognized your skill also they dont want you to upskill kasi matatabunan mo sila yun ang ayaw nila, its all about seniority here. This is my last year contract sa company ko at nakikita ko na di ko maaapply yung skill ko sa PH(dun ako nalulungkot) kaya gusto ko sana matuto ng bagong skill bago bumalik ng PH at nakita ko na ang daming programming language ang pwedeng matutunan at the same time nagleleverage yung salary mo depending on how skill you are on a programming language, which is dun ako naeexcite at nachachallenge. so may mga konting katanungan lang ako before ko pasukin ito at malinawan.

3. May mga group ba or company na nagaallow like me na tumanggap nang ojt or assistant kahit walang sahod for experience purposes only to learn more while working day job here in abroad.
4. Will a tech company hire a non IT graduate?
5. Given na im going 30 na this year, will they accept me kahit baguhan?
6. As of now Im studying C# by Mosh. Tama kaya yung order ng aaralin ko after c# -> asp.net -> asp core -> Entity framework -> .Net -> sql -> Python-> Javascript -> Node.js ->React ->Xamarin -> Angular ( dami pala )

siguro i specialize mo yung path na susundan mo? For example sa specific stack of your choice muna kasi marami po nabanggit nyo and baka hindi lahat magamit pag nag apply na.
I suggest check out po yung current trends sa market and some websites like You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. and reddit's You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Good luck TS!

Libre ba to sir haha pwede maging apprentice mo

thank you sa insight sir. I'll try to search for ACN and ASE courses thank you sa suggestion :)

Pls don't do that. Study the material, try things out, research, try some more. And if it still stuck, post the things you've done, what is not working.

Don't be another number in the growing list of mediocre IT students who are only in for the title of being called "IT" or "programmer".

yes. same sa field ng engineering di ka matatawag na engineer if laging spoonfeed. if theres a problem hingi ng guidance like hints lang not the entire solution ng di alam yung logic behind that problem. kaya challenge yung programming for me kasi ibang environment at the same time exciting.

I just want to share my experience.

What I did was to look for a job that is computer related, which is photoeditor.

And then at last, nakahanap ako ng company na tumatanggap nang marunong mag code.

What my point is, start ka lang sa pinaka basic. Grab the opportunity kung meron kang makukuhang experience kahit freelance pa yan.

Yun lang

Just pure curiosity and self motivation to do programming

both is better, kung ano mas ok sayo dun ka magfocus

3. May mga group ba or company na nagaallow like me na tumanggap nang ojt or assistant kahit walang sahod for experience purposes only to learn more while working day job here in abroad.

yes marami, intership programs. but for a career shifter this is not a preference simply because you dont hold a track record for programming. better attend trainings that are suited in building your foundation as a software developer. with your current experience. game development the closest track for you.

4. Will a tech company hire a non IT graduate?

yes, always. attitude and skills matter most.

5. Given na im going 30 na this year, will they accept me kahit baguhan?

age doesnt matter, your skills will.

6. As of now Im studying C# by Mosh. Tama kaya yung order ng aaralin ko after c# -> asp.net -> asp core -> Entity framework -> .Net -> sql -> Python-> Javascript -> Node.js ->React ->Xamarin -> Angular ( dami pala )

parang hindi. its better to build solid skills in a stack than going all the way through. kahit c# lang imaster mo ok na. saka ka mag mag jump sa iba. there are programming roadmaps out there that describes what you want to see.

work will naturally come. once you built a solid portfolio.

Sino programmer full stack jaan around nodejs? refer ko kau sa isang job posting. i am being invited pero hindi kaya ng schedule ko. dapat may upwork profile and tagalog speaking.

ask lang mas gusto mopapoba mag work sa ph kesa jan sa japan. ako kasi parang gusto ko mag work sa japan i'm college student popala.

I will answers in student perspective incoming 4th year

Curiosity about internet and technology example how a website works. Meron din.

If wala budget go for udemy course, I enroll lots of free udemy courses, if meron go for bootcamp, katapos ko lang sa self paced JavaScript course, sa bootcamp meron din sila community like disc0rd, meron dun sa nasalihan ko, madami din na career shitter dun, then meron din sila mock interview and 1 on 1 consultaion if meron ka tanong.

3. May mga group ba or company na nagaallow like me na tumanggap nang ojt or assistant kahit walang sahod for experience purposes only to learn more while working day job here in abroad.

4. Will a tech company hire a non IT graduate?
Yes if you have skills, to show your skills built a portfolio, create a project with basic crud

5. Given na im going 30 na this year, will they accept me kahit baguhan?
For me you have the experience in the industry you need just focus on sharpen your skills in programming.

6. As of now Im studying C# by Mosh. Tama kaya yung order ng aaralin ko after c# -> asp.net -> asp core -> Entity framework -> .Net -> sql -> Python-> Javascript -> Node.js ->React ->Xamarin -> Angular ( dami pala )
for me focus ka muna sa isa language, if master mo na saka mag aral ng bago.
for the javascript need basic knowledge in html and css.

Suggestion ko follow DICT page for upcoming webinar, sayang katapos lang nung isa webinar noong isang araw may topic din related about career shifter.
