According to Jovit's family,Jovit was actually recuperating for a week with hypertension medicines. The 29-year-old singer was invited by a family friend from Batangas City where he then performed 3 songs.. However, Jovit was actually advised by his doctor to refrain from singing while he is still recuperating. He gave in to clamor of the crowd. He sang 3 signature songs, including 'Faithfully' by Journey. He was gasping for breath on the 3rd song. Eventually, after an hour as he was sitting, the singer's face was reported to be deformed already with flowing salivas. He was then rushed to the nearest ER at Nazareth of Jesus Hospital last December 3, 2022 around 10pm. CTscan showed a blood clot in the brain (sign of aneurysm). And time of death officially announce 4:00am today
