Trivia PSA: The Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Has Been Unpacked

Log in or register now.holds their biannual Galaxy Unpacked event where they introduce the latest of their tech and gadgets—smartphones, tablets, wearables, you name it. Yep, it's that time of the year. The first Galaxy Unpacked event just so happened to be just a few hours ago, February 2, around 2 a.m. in PH time. As an avid Samsung fan, you might have stayed up all night with us. But for some of you in dreamland, you didn't get to watch the livestream. Don't worry. We, at SPOT.ph, got you. So while you were in deep slumber, we stood by in attendance at the event, and boy, was there some ultra (pun intended) things they've unpacked (another pun intended).

Log in or register now., the only difference is the 200.0MP (Samsung's highest resolution) of the S23 Ultra's Wide-angle camera compared to the 50.0MP of the other two. The S23 Ultra also allows its 10MP telephoto shooter to go up to 3x and 10x for the Optical Zoom and at up to 100x for the Digital Zoom—all of which promises high resolution photos and videos in daytime, nighttime, and in-between. Not to mention the entire Galaxy S23 Series' AI tech, too.

Its display is also bigger than the S23 and S23+ (which has 6.1" and 6.6" displays, respectively) with 6.8", "optimized for immersive gaming" and, of course, binge watching. It also has a 3088 x 1440 (Edge Quad HD+) with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Oh, and did we mention the Note's built-in S pen is included in the S23 Ultra, too? Yup. Doodle away.

The S23 lineup is powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, (NO MORE EXYNOS!) aka the "world's powerful and efficient platform ever in a Galaxy smartphone" and the "fastest Snapdragon ever" as processors. In terms of battery life, the S23 Ultra is on top with 5000mAh and up to 26 hours of video playback. Meanwhile, the S23 and S23+ has 3900mAh and 4700mAh respectively (higher than their S22 counterparts), more than enough to binge-watch all your series and play your games. All that powerful performance without completely overheating, thanks to the improved cooling system aka a larger Vapor Chamber.
