Regarding LTE, although it can not be used basically, it seems that there is a report saying that it should be done to LTE Only, and report that it can be used if it is set to LTE Only in Google Play Edition ROM for HTL22 which is published on this site.
It is against the Radio Law to use domestically the frequency (WCDMA) which does not pass domestically on the au smartphone for the technical conformance test.
