sa pagka-intindi ko dyan maaring mag-share lang sila ng facility
halimbawa yung tower, pwede parehong present yung transmitter ng pldt at dito sa same tower
not sure though kung meron pa sila sharing in any other aspects

A few examples of interconnection include;

  1. Two networks beside each other that are interconnected to allow their subscribers to call each other.
  2. Long-distance carriers that have access to facilities of a local service supplier in order to compete for their current customer-base in regard to long-distance services.
  3. Traditional phone networks and new wireless mobile networks that interconnect to allow different subscribers to call each other.
  4. New competitors on the market interconnect with the prominent ones to lure subscribers into their common service field to call each other from the different networks.

This means na pwede ng mga Dito Telecommunity customers magcall or magtext sa mga PLDT Landlines, Smart Prepaid and Smart Postpaid customers.

Edit: Based on PLDT's press release, Dito will be able to use PLDT's fiber backbone and vice versa. Seems like a win-win situation ito para sa customers ah, for now Dito will mostly rely PLDT's backbone until they have their own. What I mean here is that Dito will use PLDT's fiber backbone going from the Philippines to other countries.
