Openline = Any Network SIM na available sa country mo nababasa niya dahil nakakapag-scan na ng ibang network, pero yung firmware at GUI na gamit ng router mo doon pa rin sa network na pinag-bilhan mo (eg. Globe, PLDT, Smart). Kaya pag pasok mo sa dashboard ng router andoon pa din yung brand ng ISP.

Debrand = Whole firmware na yung napalitan pwedeng custom firmware or binalik sa original firmware ng supplier/manufacturer ng router, pwede ding firmware ng ibang ISP sa ibang country na may capability din mag-accept ng any SIM at makapag-scan ng any network frequency.

Ito ay opinion ko lang at base sa pagkakaintindi ko sa mga nabasa ko.

Magkapareha sila? Yes and No.

Openline = Any Network SIM that is available in your country can read it because it can scan other networks, but the firmware and GUI used by your router are still on the network you bought (eg. Globe, PLDT, Smart) . So when you enter the dashboard of the router, the ISP brand is still there.

Debrand = Whole firmware that has been replaced can be custom firmware or returned to the original firmware of the supplier/manufacturer of the router, it can also be firmware from another ISP in another country that also has the capability to accept any SIM and scan any network frequency.

This is just my opinion and based on my understanding of what I read.

Are they the same? Yes and No.
