According to internet testing leader Ookla, Globe's mobile services continue to improve due to its sustained aggressive network rollout of 4G LTE and 5G in more areas across the country.

Better consistency score than ever!
Ookla's Q1 2021 data showed that the telco's network consistency score is now more than 70 percent. Unsurprisingly, Metro Manila registered Globe's best score with 76 percent. The telco also claimed that it go impressive scores in Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, and Davao City.

It is still below the global benchmark consistency score of 80 percent. But, it is clear that the telco has improved from 56.83 percent in Q3 2020.

Meanwhile, the telco also shared that it has improved its latency by an average of 33ms during the same quarter. 60ms is the standard set by gamers. The lower the latency score the better.

To recall, latency is the amount of time it takes for information to be transmitted from source to its intended destination.

We will keep on improving the network experience of our customers in line with our aspiration of having a #1stWorldNetwork in the country, said Ernest Cu, Globe President and Chief Executive Officer.

Globe said that it will continue to improve. The company's target is to build at least 2,000 new cell sites and complete the installation of at least one million fiber-to-the-home lines this year.

The company's capex in 2021 is about PHP 70 billion. Most of the investment would be used to finance its upgrades.

They did improve a lot in my location.

Mapa 4G man or 3G.
