We're excited to introduce the Trending Content Widget, a dynamic new feature designed to keep you updated with the most popular content on our forum.
This feature is part of our December 2024 Forum upgrade and aims to enhance your browsing experience by surfacing engaging discussions and hot topics.

How It Works:
The Trending Content Widget smartly displays content based on its location within the forum. For example:

• In a Forum Section: It will only show threads from that specific section.
• On the homepage, it highlights the hottest topics across the entire forum.

Content Ranking:
Content is ranked using a sophisticated points system over the last 7 days, ensuring you see the freshest and most relevant discussions:

• View Count: 1 point
• Reply Count: 50 points
• Reaction Count: 1 point
• Reaction Score: 20 points
• Vote Count: 1 point
• Vote Score: 1 point

Freshness Factor:
The 'Trending Half-life' of 14 days means that the influence of each activity decreases over time, ensuring newer content has the opportunity to shine.

• Media View
