I'm a fresh graduate of SHS last year and nag stop ako dahil na din ss pandemic and financial problem. Tas naisipam ko mag apply sa BPO company, first time ko pa lang mag apply. Wala pa akong working expirience or expirience sa bpo company. I received a call yesterday sa company pinag applayan ko, di ako fluent sa english as in basic english lang ang kaya ko at medyo complicated pa sa grammars and poses. After nun i take initial interview and luckily nakapasa ako.

Mga bandang hapon nag call na sakin for final interview. I was confident af, kasi alam kong same lang din mga itatanong gaya sa initial interview. Then wala pang 3 min kami naguusap nung hr, nagsabi agad sya na " Unfortunately we can't continue this process, blahblah of your interview,.. blahblahblah kase daw di daw ako ganun ka confident sa mga sagot ko, and andami ko daw wrong grammars and red flags so di na daw itutuloy yung interview and marked na ako as failed.

I'm almost explode that time, sobrang sakit pala mareject kala ko oks lang. I'm just saying sana nag practice pa ko ng nagpractice.

As a fresh grad or no work experience.. wag ka muna magsimula sa mataas.. better go for a company na not strict but good working condition and invest your time to improve your skills, communication and knowledge.

In order to get confidence you must have a work experience kaya wag ka ma dismaya sir :D

Eto yong masakit sa rejection harap harapan, but cheer up, maayos hr ng company kaso mali pag approach nya, yong putulin pag iinterview, mali yon! sana tinuloy nya

Kaso di pa yata right time

Been there. Naka ilang reject din ako dati. But now, 7 years na ako sa industry. Don't lose hope. Apply lang ng apply and choose yung mga company like outbound or csr. Diyan mahahasa ka talaga. One step at a time lang and gain some experience.

you should build up your confidence and apply for voice account but if you're not that ready yet then go for a non-voice account just for the experience :)

As a new grad i remember madami din nag reject sakin until i found the company who was willing to take a risk hiring me.
After the 1st job, more choices opened up and i was able to choose the right one for me.
Cheer up TS. its the dawn of a new beginning for you.

Same feels ts. Naranasan ko rin ito last month lang din, bot once, but twice. Hahaha. First time ko mag apply sa BPO, mataas din yung confidence ko na maipapasa ko ang interview, but then 'nung sinabi ko yung totoo na currently enrolled pa ako this semester, ganyan na ganyan din yung sinabi saakin na "Unfortunately we can not continue this process of interview since our company are not accepting currently enrolled/students", pero kahit papaano binigyan pa rin naman ako ng advice (noong naginterview) na much better daw tapusin ko muna yung studies ko, at saka daw ako mag apply sakanila para hindi daw ako mahirapan pagsabayin. So ayun, hindi lang once, kundi twice yun nagyari sa isang month, magkaibang company hahaha.. yung isa thru phone call at yung isa thru zoom meeting (dito may mga kasama akong nagapply din) hahaha

I've research a lot before ako mag take ng interview i always watching YøùTùbé content about call center interview. I know na bawal talaga ang mga currently studying/ students, unless nag stop ka na at wala ka na balak mag aral. Di mo talaga dapat sabihin yan kasi 100% di ka tatanggapin, kasi nga call center is a full time work. Even though balak mong mag aral sa susunod, wag mo pa din sabihin, the goal there is mapasa mo yung interview, and after nun anytime pwede ka mag resign hehe. Sagutin mo sya ng "Right now I don't have any plan to continue my study because...... and i also decided to help my family in financial assistance blahblah(lagyan mo na lang ng rason) ganun sana ang technique ko.

Kinabahan kasi ako simce first time ko.

iba na pag 2nd time na... you will gain more confidence

Same tayo ts.

Mag apply ka sa Qualfon / Citius / TechMahindra / Sykes are those not strict in grammar and pronunciation , hired ako jan sa apat.

Here's my tips TS, to improve your speaking skills. Always read tongue twister. YES, Tongue twister, if you want to gain native english accent, always read it, Everyday and one day you notice your accent will be improve. And TS, always read a book(English) Read it aloud to practice your speaking skill and also you can expand your vocabulary. 🙂.
#Practice makes perfect. You can do it TS!
