We all know that the ML10 promo of Smart/TNT has been changed. Specifically, on its data allocations:
Old ML10 = 200mb/day for 3 days (can be bypassed using VPN apps up to 800mb-1gb/day)
New ML10 = 1gb for 3 days (capped at 1gb)
We can see that by using VPN apps (and corresponding configurations, if applicable), the Old ML10 is actually better than the New ML10 because we can reach a total of 3gb (if you're lucky).
Here is a tutorial on how to register to the old ML10:
What you need: 2 smart/tnt sim card (you don't need to purchase a new one. You can use other people's sim card as long as you have access to it because it will only be used as a sort of registration channel)
Steps:
1. Load 10 pesos on the other sim card.
2. On that sim, use the share a promo mechanics (your number space ML10) and send to 808.
3. You will receive a confirmation text (they will ask you to send YES or NO).
4. Type YES and send to 808 if you wish to proceed.
Note: In my experience, the share a promo did not require a transaction fee.
That's it! Enjoy the old ML10 (Feedback if working pls!)
Update: Sim card Data Blocking is very strict in this promo. I would advise to pair it with another data promo to enjoy maximum data consumption without the worry of blocking.
