How to understand the above data?

Above 125

A processor with a score higher than 110 delivers excellent performance in Gaming as well as Heavy usage. Selecting a phone with a processor from this category is highly recommended for the best user experience. Unfortunately, none of the MediaTek SOCs have crossed 110 so far.

Between 100-125

A score between 85 and 110 will result in a great performance in general use as well as gaming. If you’re buying a mid-range phone then you should target this range.

Between 70-100

In this range, the performance of SOCs is above average. But you’re unlikely to observe any lags or any other significant issues. If you have a low budget, try to get a phone that fits in this category.

Between 55-70

The general performance of these chips is below average but it is acceptable in the lower end phones. These can suffer from occasional lags as well as throttling issues.

Below 55

The performance of these chips is below par and should be avoided unless you’re buying an extremely cheap phone with a budget lower than $100.

#1 Dimensity 9000 in 2022 😏.

It's safe to say that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is both more powerful and more efficient than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1—on the CPU side, at least.

A mysterious Vivo smartphone, equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, scored a whopping 10,02,220 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Starting off with Geekbench 5, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 leads the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with a multi-core score of 4474 versus the Qualcomm chipset's 3810. In the single-core test, the Dimensity 9000 remains ahead, albeit marginally, scoring 1287 versus the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's 1200.

Apple A15 would still be my number one, at least until the A16 is announced. Haven't used any Mediatek powered phone in over 5 years now, I always hated the fact that their chips get so damn hot under load, though with recent chip releases I might reconsider this.

Currently using an iPhone 13 Pro (Apple A15) as my main phone and a Poco F2 Pro (Snapdragon 865) as my secondary phone.
