I will be deployed in a Project (Accenture)

Hello guys. ASE po ang position ko sa acn at mag 1 month pa lang po ako. Na pulled out po ako sa aming COBOL Bootcamp dahil may gustong mag deploy samin sa isang project which is yung sa Best Buy. Ang sabi tech support or customer service ang role at hindi about programming kaya sobrang naddissappoint ako. I felt being scammed. Is it worth it kung magtuloy ako sa project? And btw onsite sya at sa province ako nakatira kaya nagdadalawang isip ako. Salamat guys!

From programmer to CSR. Demotion yan. Nasa sau ang desisyon. Kung gusto mo programming wag ka na magtuloy.

I don't see why you get disappointed. Dahil ba tingin mo skillset mo too good for the job?

Think of the offer. No company/business would offer such high compensation if the job is a piece of cake. Give it a try. Consider it as going out of your comfort zone. Trust me, you'll change your view.

PS: As BSCS graduate and staying in CS industry for roughly 5 yeas, I didn't think my degree isn't being practiced.

I'm currently taking my bootcamp training at pinull out ako kahapon lang dahil sa project na yon. At nung JO ko wfh/Hybrid ang sinabi nila sakin but this project is pure onsite. I'm expecting na sa programming/testing side ako mapapa aasign dahil ASE ako.

Well I'm sure there was or will be a time na makausap mo yung manager or someone who represent the company's interest regarding the JO. You can haggle as long as you haven't committed yet.

Calls gagawin mo dyan as tech support. Malayo sa ASE. Kung programming career ang habol mo ts eh mag-aaksaya ka ng oras pag naging CSR ka. Pero kung need mo ng pera grab mo na lang.

You're lucky you were given another opportunity. Give it a try. Masaya naman sa customer sevice na field. You get to know a lot of people. Minsan talaga ts, hindi maibibigay satin kung ano yng gusto natin. In your case, I know na comfort zone mo yan kasi jan ka magaling, peeo sabi nga nila, one of the most dangerous place is our comfort zone. Try to step outside of it. Explore lang muna.

budol talaga yan project na yan kung saan saan sila nag hahanap ng tao mag fi fill ng project nila pati kaming nasa Infra binu budol niyan. 2 or 4 na ata kilala ko na anjan na. wala naman problema kung yan in applyan mo kaso out of line na yan sayo as DEV. feeling ko my mali din c TFS jan . career mo yan tol kz kpag asa CSR ka mahihirapan ka na maka balik sa PROGRAMMING since ang skillset mo na is CSR

hi, i'm in the same position as you. ask ko lang if tinuloy mo na ma- deploy sa project? nagdadalawang isip din ako kung sasabak ba ako sa project na to dahil full rto at malayo sa inaral ko sa bootcamp. please help me, i need your suggestion
