Do you remember that feeling, one day you wake up and you have this brilliant idea to build your own cult?
But you just cant figure out where to start?
Here is your lucky day! as we will discuss the inner workings of building a cult that will bring you success in growing your personal empire.
THE BASICS
Like any successful groups, you should start with the identity of the cult you want to create. Here are the questions you have to answer first.
Why - why are you building the cult? Is it for money? Sèx? Fame? All? This will be helpful for you to guage the success of your cult as you progress. Remember that it will be harder to achieve if you have more of them.
What - what is the guise you need to use to infiltrate your subject? You have to understand what your subjects already "worship" before you squeeze yourself in. It will be easier to be accepted if you create your guise properly. You will be able to walk down their level to lead them to where you want them.
Who - who are the subjects that you want? You might tempted to think that you can only entice the the less educated ones. Believe it or not, if you play your cards right, you can entice even the educated ones. They will be very helpful in improving the overall impression of your cult!
THE PROCESS
Each step works like a cog that synergizes with the next. Treat them with equal importance.
1- start with giving. Provide something for free, a service, a study, an object, or food, whatever you feel your subject will be attracted with. Then get them involved. This will build a sense of community. The stronger the community you build, the less likely they will leave. (This will then allow you to set some rules to start with.)
2- increase your charisma. Appear nice. Appear to know something that they do not. Slowly build a list of explanations that will appeal to their values. This is the narative. Creating the narrative is a challenging step but the goal is you have to create an image of yourself as the one closer to what they consider "divine", whether be it a god, money, etc.
3- segregate. After a good amount of programing your cult's narative, and the feeling of them being close to their "divine" through you, your subject will now feel of a higher status to their peers outside the group. The closer they are to you, the higher they would feel their status is. Slowly you can segregate them from the outside world.
4- ρá†ch up holes. as they are segregated from the outside, unevitably they will have loved ones outside the cult. Obviously this is not good. You should comfort them while emphasizing that they are weak and unable to convince their love ones in, and that is fine.
5- outside and inside opposing forces should now be watched carefully. This is where the more educated ones can come in handy. You can now elevate their status to ensure loyalty. Train them with the arts of gaslighting to deal with the inside threats. You yourself then use your charisma to deal with the outside threat. You shall invite proponents in to the trap you have created to prove your legitamacy. "See for yourself, there is nothing to lose" wink, wink
Congratulations! Now you have officially started your cult. Every pieces are now in place.
What you do after is now all up to you, o "divine" one.
