INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Silken tofu
4 tbsp. Sago or Tapioca Pearl cooked
Brown Sugar Syrup

INSTRUCTIONS:

Warm the silken tofu and tapioca pearl in a microwaveable bowl 45 seconds to one minute.
Remove excess water.
Add 2 tbsp sugar syrup, adjust to your taste.
Warm it again for another 30-45 seconds.
Serve while still warm.

NOTES
To make the sugar syrup: heat 1 cup water in a saucepan till it’s boiling then add 1 cup sugar. Mix and simmer for 1 to minutes.
You can use extra soft tofu if you can't find silken tofu.


Recipe 2

HOMEMADE TAHO

INGREDIENTS:

1 package extra soft tofu

sago, cooked

SYRUP/ARNIBAL:

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup water

PROCEDURE:
SAGO:
Boil water in a saucepan. Add in uncooked sago.

Stir to prevent sticking.

Cook until transparent.

Drain then rinse. Set aside.

SYRUP:
Caramelize sugar in a saucepan. When melted, pour in the water.

Continue cooking until the sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside.

TAHO:
Transfer the tofu in glass, cup or bowl. Microwave the extra soft tofu for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes.

Remove from the microwave.

Add enough arnibal to sweeten. Add sago and lightly stir.

Serve warm.
