Graphic Card Expect to Rise 3rd Quarter of 2018!
Although we all know that the main culprit of price inflation of GPU is "Cryptomining" there will be another.
“Apple and Samsung are willing to pay more for this memory to make sure they get it first and all of it that they need. This has
created a shortage of memory for the much smaller companies like MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, and EVGA to make graphics cards.”
Here's the catch!
Mobile phones will not use the HBM2 or GDDR5 due to power requirements.
It's posibble that GPU manufacturer will create new trend of technology solely for Mobile usage.
If they come up with a solution, this issue will not affect the price of GPU for computer alone.
Who will benefit of this booming price?
Ofcourse GPU manufacturer, given the fact Apple and Samsung will pay watever the price just to be the first. Local distributors and resellers.
Who will suffer the most?
New PC builders with a budget of $500 or 25,000php. Only those "Rich Kid" can afford a GTX 1080 ti with a price range of 45,000 -
50,000 or even more depending on the brand and specifications.
