Closed Help how can i set up a custom notification ringtone on vivo v7+?

Just got a vivo 7+

went to settings>volume> there I try to set up my ringtones

There was no problem setting up custom ringtones for messages and call ringtones.
But for notification ringtones there was a problem. There was no option to choose a custom ringtone unlike for messages and calls. Now I'm forced to choose the phone's built in ringtones.

Any way to change this?

To set an MP3 file for use as custom ringtone system-wide, do the following:
1.Copy the MP3 files to your phone. ...
2.Go to Settings > Sound > Device ringtone. ...
3.Tap the Add button to launch the media manager app. ...
4.You will see a list of music files stored on your phone. ...
5.Your selected MP3 track will now be your custom ringtone.

there was a 'sound' option for my last phone but I can't find it on my vivo 7+. are you reffering at the 'volume' option perhaps? tried it didn't work, check the pics
