Pag nag silipat yung iilan for sure mas lalakas lalo hatak ng internet sa Globe at Smart dahil mawawalan ng internet traffic.

Binalita noon, about sa bidding ng telcos ang average speed na inooffer ni Dito telecom is halos same lang ni GTM at Trinet.

You can't expect too much dahil sa ginawang bidding hindi ang pinakamabilis ang kinuha kundi kung sinong telco ang makapag-ooffer ng affordable internet.

Pero kahit ano pa man ang mangyari since dadami na ang cell towers mababawasan na ng congestion ng users so bibilis na ang average internet speed sa pinas. Sana nga lang magdagdag pa ng mga telco kahit isa or dalawa pa.

Both smart and globe have towers, devices connect to their towers, wether it be modems, phones, laptops with cellular, as long as they can support data networks. Now, the number of people connected to the cell towers affect the internet speed. The more people using the tower, the slower the tower's speed becomes. So if lilipat yung, let's say 70% of subscribers to dito telecom. Edi CONGESTION mangyayari since there will be too much devices connected to one tower. Now, don't say na goodbye smart and globe dahil if nashutdown ni smart at globe tower nila 100% of subscribers will be connected to dito telecom making the internet speed even slower than what globe and smart are able to achieve.

Masyado silang excited, years pa ang inabot bago magkaroon ng 4g network nationwide so expect na years din aabutin bago makapagcompete si Dito Telecom kay Smart at GTM in terms of number of towers at number of users/customers that the telco can handle.

The only reason na mabilis si smart kaysa kay globe (according to speedtest awards) is because powered by pldt naman si smart. Pldt ang may pinakalawak na fiber backbone sa pinas ngayon. Dito? Not so much, though mabilis sila magupgrade.
