DAVAO CITY – A 22-year old man was arrested while transporting ********* from Cotabato City to this city, a military official said Sunday.
Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang, deputy commander of the Task Force Davao, said Harrier Virtudazo, of Barangay Rosary Heights in Cotabato City, was arrested on Saturday at a checkpoint in Toril district here.
Cabangbang said Virtudazo was found carrying at least 10 bundles of dried *********.
“The suspect was turned over to SPO3 Leo Romero of the PNP Toril for proper disposition,” the official said.
Charges for violation of the anti-drugs law are being prepared against the suspect.
Cabangbang said the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency estimated the ********* weighed about one kilo, which had a street value of P40,000.
