Help Freelancer

Invest in yourself whenever possible. Like, keep learning and improving your skills. You could even choose to expand on your skill set if you want to. That's your bread and butter.

Have the patience of steel and be resilient. Being a freelancer can come with many disappointments and it's always most difficult at first. But you can always explore the possibilities, there are many opportunities lying in wait on the internet.

Having two or more clients is good. Don't stick with a single client. Whenever possible, establish a business relationship with others. Biglaan ka man mawalan ng isang client, which happens, meron ka pa rin business partners.

Speaking of income, consider building a passive source of income for yourself. Learn how to invest or how to run a business, for example. Mahirapan ka man magtrabaho at some point, e.g., due to illness or accident, meron ka pa rin pagkukunan ng panggastos. Also, mas madaling i-enjoy ang buhay kung walang worries sa cashflow.

Build your safety net as early as possible, such as an emergency fund. As a general rule of thumb, your emergency fund should be commensurate to 6 months' worth of your overall living expenses.

Agree ako sa sinabi mo the more kase na marami tayong alam na skill the more na may chance na magka-client tayo at baka magtagal pa ang client mo ng taon sayo.
