As Christian we are led by the holy spirit, not by our feelings.

Proverbs 16:25 "There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death."

Do not decide when you feel angry; Do not decide when you feel pressured; and when you feel manipulated.

Don't rush the process, instead trust the process.

Ang mga verses na ito, mostly sa wisdom books (Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Psalms, Job, Songs of Solomons) ay madalas standalone naman. Tama naman yung sinabi ni TS about sa verse. Dagdagan ko lang, aside from deceptive self feelings, it talks about self righteousness din. May mga tao kasi na self-centered at self-righteous. Akala nila tama yung ginagawa nila gamit yung sarili nilang standard kagaya ng mga kasabihang "Be True to Yourself", "Your Body, Your Rule" which might lead sa kapahamakan dahil hindi naman Biblical.

Ikaw pala yan ratata kala ko kung sino , nagiba ka na pala ng username dito, medyo busy kasi sa work at sa ministries kaya ngayon lang naka-bisita.

Agree po. Feelings cannot be your barometer, youd miss your blessing. Faith in the Word and the Promises in the bible needs to be applied. Mahirap ito gawin pero ito lang ang way para ma please mo si God. Use your faith at all times.

Bale ang feelings can cloud your faith. Example you need to make it to work and bumabagyo, maraming pwedeng mangyari along the way to reach your work. pwedeng may matumbang puno, lumipad na yero sa iyo etc na ikakapahamak mo. If your fear/ill feelings etc affect you much, you will not even get out and make it to your work.

But if you have reason to keep going forward, to believe you are needed to be at work, you will choose to ignore your feelings of fear and go out and make it to work.

Yung example mo na nagugunaw ang mundo sa isiip mo pero pinagpray mo is kapayapaan - this is too far from the message.

Paki calibrate po yung iyong pananaw. When you want something -it shoud always be for the good of others.

If you have ill thinking of people maski slight lang, then you have something deep to work on. Paki assess po ang inyong sarili. Seek more help and dont attempt to share your thoughts for now until something good comes out from it that we all can benefit from.

This may be far from the topic you intently mean. However, what you quote is so on-point in our current geopolitical climate. Europe thought buying oil and gas from Russia and shutting down Europe's own source of energy will lead them to better relationship with Russia and at the same time saving the planet from global warming. In the end, we have deaths on both Ukrainians and Russians, global food crisis which estimates by U.N. that about millions of 'poor' people will starve to death, as well as the threat of nuclear arsenal to the West from Russia.

One might say that the Bible is obselete or no longer needed in the modern era and yet here we have an on-going situation affirming to what was written more than two millenia. Thank you TS for sharing this incredible quote. This is important especially when many people are turning away from the divine. I forgot where I read/hear this but it resonates to me while observing the secular world. It goes like this: "A modern man may be more intelligent than ever before, but he is no wiser."
