Mojang added new Lush Cave Blocks such like Spore Blossom block, Flowering Azalea blocks, Cave Vines, Glow Berries etc. All of them will be spawn in Lush Caves. But unfurtunatly Lush Caves doesn't exist yet and only will be added soon. From now you can get new blocks in creative mode inventory.
As usually Mojang fixed many bugs and crashes in current update. For example: Copper and Lightning Rod issues, general bugs and Character Creator problems.

Mojang added many new plants. Yes! Finely they added something! All new blocks, carpet, leaves will be generated in Lush Caves. Problem is that Mojang didn't create Lush Caves yet. We can assume that Lush Caves will be added soon. Now we can only get new stuff in creative inventory.Functionality?
Not all plants are only for decoration purposes. For example Azalea and Flowering Azalea can be used as furnace fuel.some new plants you can see on screenshots below
