Debloat Apps with ADB AppControl

Here is a free app called ADB AppControl that will let you disable and uninstall any apps you don't want in your Android device. It also allow you to save the preset so you can reuse it if you reinstall or update a ROM.

How to use:

  1. In your phone's settings, go System > Developer Option and enable USB Debugging. If Developer Option is not able, tap the Builder in Settings > About section.
  2. Connect your phone to the PC.
  3. Open ADB App Control.
  4. It will detect your device in ADB. Go to the phone and enable "allow access" to ADB connection when ask.
  5. Once connected, it ask to install the Bridge app so it can show better app description, app name and app icons for listing the apps.
  6. Check any apps you want to disable or uninstall.
  7. When done with selection, click the Save Preset button.
  8. Select the action Disable or Uninstall.
  9. Finally, click the Apply button to begin.

If you make a mistake disabling an app, you can easily undo it with this steps.

1. Select the filter type to show disabled apps: Disabled.
2. Check the app you want to undo.
3. Select the action: Enable
4. Click the Apply button.

If you want to reinstall apps, you to need to backup the apk when you select uninstall app. If you didn't it will not work. Some systems app might not able to reinstall depends if you are rooted or not.
