PART II: All-purpose free Chess GUI, for chess engines, opening books, endgame tablebases, game editors and utilities

Log in or register now.) at ilang dekada na itong umusbong, pinasikat at humusay dahil na rin teknolohiya. Gamit na ito ngayon ng mga manlalaro para masanay at mapadali ang pagtaas ng antas sa paglalaro.

Ang ipapakita ko lang sa mga baguhanay yung paggamit ng mga libreng mga softwares at guides, para mapakinabangan ang mga ito sa paglaro ng chess sa iba't ibang paraan.

Chess Engine GUI: Ito yung interface na pag-gagamitan natin para makapaglaro ng chess against an AI (artificial intelligence) na chess engine (CE), mag-analyze/mag-review ng mga laro (PGN - portable game notation, atbp. chess format), gumawa ng opening book para sa chess engine, gumawa ng chess engine tournament, makipaglaro online against a human or AI if supported ng interface, atbp.

Kapag sinabing "chess engine", yan yung mga console programs na nagbibigay ng legal moves ng normal chess or chess variant (kung sakaling mahilig kayo ng ibang mods ng chess). Merong mga engine protocols ang CE, Winboard, UCI (Universal Chess Interface, MCS (Millennium Chess System) like ChessGenius, Chessbase, Chessmaster, etc. Kailangan ay supported ng chess interface ang engine protocol para magamit sila o kaya ay gumamit engine protocol converters/adapters.

Ang sa akin, sana ay may magsubok din sa software side ng chess na binanggit ko. Maraming benefits yan sa mga present chess players ngayon. Even a virtual AI can be a good chess teacher + your own initiative to tweak external SW to your own benefit, especially in analyzing games, preferred lines....You can also do it online for free.
Dyan ninyo malalaman how weak our chess idols compared to the new generation of chess players. Kulang pa yang sinabi ko sa iba pang branches nyan.

He he. Di ako naglalaro sa chessdotcom. AI to AI lang ang hobby ko unless gusto ko lang maglaro para pagpawisan ang isip he he. Noong (80's - 90's), secondary to pre-college years ko, ay naglalaro ako nyan.
