Help Calling Freelance Video Editor

Hey ph Corner community,
Ask ko lang po since plan palang na pumasok as freelance video editor ganto po kasi yun..
Yung client ng client ko na ginagawan ko ng videos nagreach out sakin via messenger at want nya na kunin ako part time as video editor nya. Di na kasi ako nagwowork sa client ko ngayon ( nasa under agency kasi ako)

Yung question ko paano kaya magiging process nun? like how much kaya ang ichacharge ko sa knya? no idea kasi ako magkano chinacharge ng mga video editor pag ganun. Nasa intermediate na ang skills ko sa pag video edit.

At ano ang payment process pag ganun? dapat ba bayad sya una? or pagkanasubmit na ang video?

Ano yung mas ok per project ba? per video? per minutes ng video? per hour? (OH MY IM OVERWHELM)

Yng ginawa ko ngayon, per hour singil ko, nagsearch lng din ako sa mga freelance site kng magkano mga rate nila doon..

Ang mali ko lng is di ako nag bigay ng contract no idea kasi ako doon

pero ngayun sir nag ttrabaho kana as video editor ng client ng client mo dati pero walang contract?. hindi ba per project yung bayad nyan? or sahud na talaga?

yes, nagwowork na ako sa kanya as part time, kng meron lang syang ipapagawa dun ko lng din trinatrabaho.. pwede rin nmn per project pero per hour nlng siningil ko hahaahah. di ko alam kng ano ba mas maganda kng per project or per hour anyways singil ko sa kanya is 40$ per hour skl

kung intermediate na po kayo mejo unrated yung 40 na sinisingil nyo, you need po to inlcude the hours you spent, ilang days, at your personal charge as video editor. talo po kayo sa 40. hope this help eto young dapat process nyo " Edit hours + personal process charge + how many revisions? + total day upon completion. you need to have contract para walang unlimited revision, this is where videographer are often taken for granted. hope this help
