META TO REMOVE FACEBOOK LIVE SHOPPING​

Social metaverse firm Meta announced that they will remove the Live Shopping feature on Facebook starting on October 1, 2022.
“Beginning on October 1, 2022, you will no longer be able to host any new or scheduled Live Shopping events on Facebook,” Meta's statement read.

However, Meta assured the Facebook users that they can still
broadcast live videos without creating product playlists or tag products.

“You will still be able to use Facebook Live to broadcast live events,
but you won’t be able to create product playlists or tag products in your Facebook Live videos,” it added.

Meta made the move as they wanted to shift their focus to Reels on both social media platforms,
Facebook and Instagram.

According to Meta, netizens can still tag their products using Reels on Instagram and broadcast a
Live Shopping as well.

Hindi affected ang mga small time online sellers kasi nga normal "FB live" feature naman ang ginagamit nila.
Pinalalaki lang masyado ng media at ng ilang mga hindi marunong sa Reading comprehension.
Live Shopping Events feature lang ni FB ang mawawala, pero gaya nga ng sabi ko, hindi magiging apektado ang mga gumagamit ng normal "FB Live" feature ni Facebook.

Kunwari, ako yung seller, pwede pa rin ako mag live selling kasi nga normal "FB Live" feature naman ang ginagamit ko at hindi ung Live Shopping Events feature ni Facebook.

Masyado kasing ginagawang very big deal ng marami, lalong-lalo na ang media.

Saka tayo magreklamo pag yung FB Live feature na ni Facebook ang tatanggalin since hindi lang online selling ang magiging apektado kundi mostly lahat ng events, gaya ng Facebook Gaming and others.
