Apex Legends is the latest FPS sensation in the genre of online battle royale games. Released by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts almost two years after the incredible rise of PUBG and Fortnite popularity, Apex Legends managed to find its own voice in this crowded battle royale genre by implementing its tried and true tested fast gameplay found in Titanfall franchise with new and innovative features such as faster traversal (which include vaulting and climbing), simplified item management (which removes the focus from manually managing each weapon attachments) and game-changing Ping communication system that allows all players to communicate their intent and offer tactical recommendation with a simple press of the button.
With all these changes and the strong focus on delivering only one gameplay mode that promotes three-person teams and distinctive player classes with unique timed, passive and special abilities, Apex Legends for Windows PC instantly became a hit game when it was released in early 2019.
The core gameplay mode of Apex Legends gathers 20 teams of three players and allows them to perform team jumps and landings at the start of the match, simplifying the process of deploying on the land below. The gameplay is faster and more streamlined than in any of the competing big battle royale games, promoting the fast transition from one area to another, easy way to climb on terrain/buildings, instantly communicate with the built-in Ping system and engage in battles where every user has the ability to quickly replenish their core health and armor gauges if they find only a few seconds where they are safe from the incoming fire.
To make the gameplay even more engaging, completely downed players can even be resurrected at numerous respawn points located across the map, giving the ability to unlucky teams to bounce back, respawn to the full complement, and fight again for the match victory.
Today, Apex Legends Battle Royale Game has grown tremendously, incorporating in itself additional gameplay modes, new Legends with their own unique abilities, expansion of cosmetic item offering, and timed special events that unlock new and fun gameplay modes (solo play, shotgun & sniper only play, etc.).
