They did this by collecting geotagged tweets that mention billionaire businessmen and entrepreneurs (no athletes or entertainers), sorting them by location and using an AI program to determine what percentage of tweets was positive or negative.
The list of billionaires include Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Rupert Murdoch, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffet, Larry Page, Larry Ellison, Sergey Brin, Steve Ballmer, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Cuban, Sheryl Sandberg, Donald Trump, and Richard Branson.

Based on this study, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is the billionaire loved in the most countries (37), although he is hated in three other countries. Meanwhile, the most-hated is former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is despised in 84 countries.
That goes for the Philippines, too. With about 45.85 percent of tweets about him negative, Trump has the dubious honor of being the most-hated billionaire here in the country.
On the flipside, ****** founder Richard Branson is, apparently, the billionaire most-loved by Filipinos, with about 38.36 percent of tweets about him favorable.
