So you’ve just finished the finale of Crash Landing On You and you’re probably itching for a new Korean drama to binge-watch. Thankfully, most K-dramas are now available on streaming sites in the Philippines. Most streaming sites have K-dramas in a variety of genres from action to politics, to espionage, to superhero, to magic, to historical dramas, and so much more.

If you’re looking for that next show to binge-watch, check some of our favorites available in iFlix, Viu, and HOOQ.

1. CITY HUNTER
Available in Viu

If you’re looking for a show with Lee Min Ho and stunning action scenes, City Hunter is for you. Follow along as Lee Yoon Sung (starred by Lee Min Ho) takes on the secret identity of “City Hunter” as he gets revenge on the corrupt politicians who caused his father’s death many years before.

There’s also a nice little romance with his colleague and love interest Kim Na Na (starred by Park Min Young), to give strategic breaks in between intense revenge plotting and well-choreographed fight scenes. Check it out on Viu, it’s an exciting drama all throughout!

2. WHAT’S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM?
Available in iFlix and Viu

Something a little on the lighter side, “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?” tells the story of Kim Mi So (starred by Park Min Young), a 29-year-old woman who has finally conquered her family’s financial struggles and has decided to quit her job as secretary to Vice Chairman Lee Young Joon (starred by Park Seo Joon).

Her employer simply cannot understand why she would want to resign from such a prestigious job with a (self-proclaimed) perfect man. Their story revolves around him figuring out why she would even leave (as well as try to get her to stay in the company), and her just trying to finish out the rest of her contract. This show is perfect if you’re up for a light-hearted comedy!

3. DONG YI
Available in HOOQ

If you’re looking for a more tearjerker drama, Dong Yi is a 60 episode slow burn of Sageuk and romance goodness. Dong Yi starts out as a young girl born into the cheonmin, which is considered to be the lowest class in the Joseon Dynasty. She later becomes an orphan and is left to work as a maid for the Bureau of Music.

Being told that her father and brother were criminals, she makes it her mission to prove her family’s innocence in the case of murdering nobles. As she goes along with finding out the truth, she discovers so much more mysterious cases in the court. This show has a historical backdrop, politics, scandals, romance, and so much more, so ready your wits and your tissues.

4. GOBLIN
Available in iFlix and Viu

Here’s one that has a subtle and seamless mix of several genres, including whimsical folklore. Goblin starts with a grandmother telling the story of how a fearless warrior in the Goryeo period was turned immortal as both a reward and punishment. The legend goes, his immortal existence will cease only when he finds his bride and she removes the sword buried in his chest.

Nine hundred years later, we meet the stodgy goblin Kim Shin (starred by Gong Yoo), jaded and lonely after witnessing so many deaths. His world becomes a little bit more colorful when a 19-year-old Ji Eun Tak (starred by Kim Go Eun) comes up to him and claims to be his bride. With other interesting characters thrown in the mix, this drama has a nice mix of cute, heartwarming, and tear-jerking — all the elements that make a great K-drama.

5. HOTEL DEL LUNA
Available in Viu

Hotel Del Luna stars Lee Ji-eun (better known as IU for KPop fans) as Jang Man-wol, the beautiful yet greedy CEO of a hotel for ghosts. She is stuck in the hotel because of a crime she committed a thousand years prior. She then recruits elite hotelier Goo Chan Sung (portrayed by Yeo Jin Goo), a human, to be the hotel’s general manager. As Man-wol unlocks Chan Sung’s ability to see ghosts, he then goes on an exciting adventure of discovering the secrets of Hotel del Luna and its residents.
