Help Anong magandang piliin? Computer Engr, Comsci o BsIt? para sa College!

Isa po akong G12 graduate ng IT and Mobile Apps sa STI at ngayong year magkacollege nako. Ano po kayang magandang piliin?

Computer Engineering o Comsci o BsIt ang pagpipilian ko pero sa palagay ko ekis na sakin ang Comsci kasi more on coding hays ang ang hirap non haha sobrang madugo... at d namn po ako masyadong kagalingan mag code. I have develop inventory system noong grade 11 using netbeans tapos naka pag develop namn ako ng game ngayong g12 using android studio d namn masyadong kagandahan pero functional namn so may prior knowledge ako sa java. pero d ko yon masyadong master haha.

Base sa naiisip ko mas nadadalian ako sa pag dedevelop ng website. Alam ko na ang Html at css pero d ko masyadong gamay ang javascript. May knowlege nadin po ako sa Sql.

Pwede bang malaaman kung anong pwede kong maging trabaho pag pinili ko ang Computer Engineer?

Pero d ko po nililimitahan dyan sa 3 college course nayan... kung may alam po kayong college course na pwdde ko pa pong itake suggest po kayo. paliwanag nyo din mga master kung anong pwede kong trabaho pag tinake ko yun coure nayun.


Kailangan ko na kasing mag handa para sa aking future family at sa mga future kong anak Mahirap mag kamali sa pag pili ng course baka d ko namn kasi pakinabang. Nasa huli ang pagsisi. pero nari yann namn po sa industry na to ang passion ko.

I believe, BSIT, madaming oppurtunity sa I.T. pwedi ka din magFocus coding sa BSIT if gusto mo tlaga, ikaw na magDedevelop after all. Then pwede ka din magTeacher after you graduate. Pwede din sa mga Government Office, or Bank. Basta wag ka lng magCall center ksi mahirap yun sayang din IT mo nun.

Can be on government office or bank but not call center? I am cs graduate and I am a call center agent. I earn up to 30k incentives monthly on top of my basic rate which is 1,100 per day. I'm holding netgear modem/router technical support account. I tell you, It's pretty decent job. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get a supervisor post before the end of this year.

In my more than 2 years, I never experienced delays of salary. Never had problems with my sups. We have lot of ensurances and benefits. It might not be the best job but I'm pretty sure not the worst either.

Opinion ko lng yan sir. ksi para sa akin mahirap kung mag call center ako.. hehe. May nighshift kayo dbha?

depende yan sa major mo, hindi lang naman programming at coding ang CS, maraming math ang CS almost same sa CE, madami din Analysis ang CS.
Sa CS sa sobrang dami ng analysis pwede ka mag Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Quality Assurance. pwede ka din mag AI at Machine Learning
Sa IT DBA, SysAd, NetAd
Sa CE pwede ka mag semicon tsaka design ng motherboards, processor etc.

Pwede ka din mag ECE kung trip mo, ito ung mga network engineers.

Any engineering board course Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng or Electrical Eng, Kung gusto mo tiba² pag nagtapos ka, that is if you pass the board of course. Ok din naman computer related course kaso Lang medyo saturated na yung industry. Which makes jobs harder to come by.

ComSci then focus on Game Development parang nag Multimedia Course kana din + Programming nga lang. Di ka maboboring kase more on logic/analysis di gaano mabigat like Engineering na deep math and ikaw mismo trip mo ginagawa mo kahit medyo nakakaantok mga tuts. Pwede ka mag switch thru Mobile/Desktop App dev / WebDev konting adjustment lng depende sa gusto mo.

Pero for now wag mo masyado stressin sarili mo hahaha kung ano hilig mo dun ka para tumagal ka

Hi TS,
Currently sa IT field ang top paying ay either data sciences or cloud/infra technology.
Either you go as CompSci or Math kung gusto mo data science and engineering kung hardcore tech.
Pero it all boils down sa interests mo. Basta andun ang interests and willingness to learn magiging succesful ka.

I.T field is more on upgrading, furnishing real work of I.T
C.S field scientist on computer/new ideas real work of C.S esp programming
C.E MediaCore of enthical components of computer , pwd ka kahit saang sangay ng eng. field development.. katulad siya ng B.S Physics na pwd magturo kahit anung course field ng H.S sa science
