Closed Help! My seagate external drive won’t show up in computer.

When i plug in my computer recognize the usb and even can eject the drive but the drive won’t show up in “this pc” and when i opened the disk management i saw that it was unknown and not initialized, whenever i tried to initialize it it said “the request failed due to a fatal device hardware error” pls help me!

2. Yung USB cable na ginagamit mo sa external hard drive, maayos ba?
3. Ano computer mo, PC o Laptop?
4. Ano brand at model ng Board o Laptop mo?
5. Ano OS gamit mo, Windows 7 / 8.x / 10 ?
6. Ano version ng driver na ginamit mo sa external hard drive?
7. Ano USB port mo, 2.x o 3.x?

3 years na external hdd
usb cable ayus sya and i tried ung isa ko pang cable but it didn’t worked, i plugged it to other port and computer but still didn’t worked.
laptop asus windows 10
updated nmn ung driver
usb 3.0

Hindi nmn, what happened is that nagcopy ako ng files then in the mid-way bumagsak na ung transfer rate into 0bytes and prompting some files that should be skip so i skipped all the files but the problem still persists so i cancel the copying and wait. After it canceled it’s not responsing so i thought if i unplug the usb will solve it

Un gna din ang problema, sa disk managment nakalgay doon disk 1 is unknown and not allocated, di ko sya mainitialize at may lumalabas na error “the request has been denied due to fatal hardware error“ something like that.

Nagrerepair po ba sa pc express or silicone valley, malayo kac ang gilmore, nsa quezon province po ako

Ang alam ko meron repair sa PC Express, pero 'di ko sigurado kung lahat ng branch meron.

sa cmd type

chkdsk E: /f

E = drive letter

kung gusto mo sya iforce format use diskpart
sa cmd type

diskpart
list disk
select disk 1/2/3..etc (yung external mo)
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
format fs=ntfs quick
assign

try mo yan but note it will format your external, pero may chance na maging usable

In/Out fatal hardware error madugo yan dudong gayunpaman yung sa kin ganyan din dati una nag scan disk ako para sa bad sector tapos repair disk tapos nung medyo gumana na nag re-install ako ng driver nya ayun gumana pa ! kaya lang bumagal sya, pero nagagamit naman at di nawala ang mga files.

ung akin po narerecognize nmn sya ng pc kaso hindi sya basahin, ni reinstall ko ung mga drive and updat it kaso ganun pa rin

Okay, i tried chkdsk but it prompted the "cannot open volume for direct access" what should i do?
