Let me ask you first,Pagod ka na ba kaka overthink?

Thinking too much about your future? Beating yourself up over your past mistakes? Worrying what others are thinking of you?

Then stop and take time to read this;

Tip #1: Distract yourself.

It helps because habang distracted ka, your brain may find better solution to your problem kasi mas relaxed ka.

Tip #2: Write it down or share it to someone.

Release is the key here, Breaker.
I-release mo na ‘yung mga taong unhealthy for you, este, ‘yung thoughts mo pala.
‘Yang bigat na nararamdaman mo at mga gumugulo sa isipan mo?
It will only get heavier and darker kung ike-keep mo sa self mo. Talking it out or writing it down will allow you to understand your situation better and process what you’re feeling.
Siyempre better if may pagsasabihan ka talaga, either a friend whom you can trust or family or anyone close to you.

Tip #3: Unplug and plug.

Mag-unplug ka sa mga bagay or tao na nag-a-add ng stress sa ‘yo, at mag-plug ka sa mga activity that will give you benefit and happiness.
Maglaan ka ng time to evaluate, Breaker.
Hindi sa lahat ng situation “G!” or “Yes” ang sagot mo, minsan kailangan mo ring sabihing “No” or “Thank you for thinking of me pero pass muna ako” for your own well-being. It’s called boundaries.
There are battles in life that are not meant for you to fight and burdens that are not meant for you to carry.
Ask for the LORD’s wisdom in determining what to prioritize para hindi mo pino-problema ang mga bagay na hindi mo dapat problemahin.

Tip #4: Practice decision-making.

Madalas kasi nasa-stuck tayo kaiisip ng problema hanggang sa lumipas na ang mga oras at araw, wala pa ring progress.
You need to move forward and think of solutions, Breaker. ‘Wag kang ma-stuck sa kaiisip but make sure to act on it.
“Make decisions and stick with them kahit na feeling mo mahirap pa siyang gawin,”
Kung hindi ka confident sa decision mo dahil natatakot kang magkamali or you just don’t know what to do because there are too many options, you’re on the right path.

Tip #5: Take deep breaths and hug a pillow.

Try mo now hanggang sa gumaan ang pakiramdam mo, Breaker. Nakakatulong kasi ang paghinga ng malalim to reduce anxiety and stress.
Ang astig netong explanation ng Michigan Medicine in their article Stress Management: Breathing Exercises for Relaxation, “It (deep breathing) sends a message to your brain to calm down and relax. The brain then sends this message to your body. Those things that happen when you are stressed, such as increased heart rate, fast breathing, and high blood pressure, all decrease as you breathe deeply to relax.”
Calming din to hug a pillow and cry kung kinakailangan, advice ni Carl.
Interesting din ang sinabi ng Penn Medicine in their article “When we cry we are actually relieving our body of countless toxins and hormones that contribute to elevated stress levels. This in turn can help individuals to sleep better, strengthen their immune systems, and avoid gaining weight.”
You see kung gaano ka-healthy ang paghinga ng malalim at pag-iyak?

Tip #6: Seek professional help.

Kapag ginawa mo na ang lahat and hindi pa rin nag-work, it’s time to let go and move on.
Ehem.Echos lang! Pinapa-smile ka lang. Pero seriously, kung napapansin mo na wala pa ring improvement, it’s okay to ask for help, Breaker.
“Professionals can give you more strategies and assess your struggles,

Tip #7: Find Rest in the LORD.

When was the last time na nakatulog ka ng mahimbing because your mind is free from worries?
The LORD wants to give you that, Breaker.
Open your Bible to remember kung gaano Siya ka-big, ka-strong, at ka-powerful sa kahit na ano mang hinaharap mo. Magpatugtog ka ng praise and worship songs and hayaan mo Siyang punuin ang puso at isip mo ng Kaniyang peace and joy.
