For a working site, you need both below:
— a domain name.
— a hosting server.

Let glue these items using a name server who holds your DNS records.

Where to update your nameservers?
— You need to access your domain provider and update your nameservers from there. If you have challenges, contact your domain provider.

Where to get these name servers?
— Go to your hosting provider, these should be listed on your cPanel details. If you have challenges, contact your hosting provider.

Once completed, let these records propagate, this can take 2 to 4 hours. After the said period, you can check your records via You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Make sure to clear your cache and DNS flush your device for you to get new records as expected. If you have challenges, see these links below:

Why clearing or refreshing your cache?
Your browser has a folder in which certain items that have been downloaded are stored for future use. Graphic images (such as buttons and icons), photo's, and even entire web pages are examples of items which are saved or cached. When visiting a webpage your browser checks if a copy of the files on the page is in its cache already. If so, it will save the visitor some downloading and make web pages load faster. Some browsers refer to its cache as Temporary Internet Files

If you have the expected nameservers and IP address, you should be all set. For explanations, and please read You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

I hope this will help for starters.
